There is some confusion over this charger versus ones with just a fan. This has an active Peltier thermoelectric solid state cooling system which is very roughly equivalent to an air conditioner or freezer. It is vastly superior to a fan-only system. I like how it has 4 fan speeds (including "off"). And for those idiot reviewers who say "it should be a power bank", they are incredibly stupid. The device would be massively larger and also have limited power storage capacity.

(I don't know about humid environments like the Amazon backcountry, but I live in an island country with high humidity)

This will prevent overheating that may occur during charging or under load from applications, and will be sufficient to prevent deterioration of the smartphone's battery.

The price is very reasonable for a product with this many features.
It was a very good value for money for me.

I love it! It freezes my phone instantly while in high demamding games or work, the only problem is that it would’ve been perfect if it could be used without a cable.

Cools very well

I initially thought this was also a power Bank but it isn't. This is solely a magsafe fan. It works as advertised but for the price of rather buy the built in fan and battery bank which is on sale as well.
